WBUCC Response to COVID-19

Dear Friends,
In light of the continuing spread of the COVID-19 viral illness, West Bloomfield United Church of Christ will not be meeting for worship or other group activities until further notice. Video sermons will be posted on our Facebook group page. We will stay in touch and in service via phone and computer.
Why? This illness is now in the community-spread stage, and we must place the safety of the vulnerable and the good of community, country and world above our own desires. It is prudent (and good Christian and scientific practice) to eliminate any opportunities for the mass-spread of the virus. In doing so, we can slow the rate of infection so our medical resources are not overwhelmed. Far from “panic,” preemptive action and preparedness are wise and necessary marks of good citizenship. Let’s all pray for each other, those on the front lines combating this virus, and our leaders.
Here’s how we can all keep up with our pledges. Please don’t send your money to us if you anticipate hardship due to lost income! If you are well set to weather this financial storm, we welcome your donation. Online Givingchurch set up for fb live
