WBUCC will be collecting diapers for our “Make A Mother’s Day” Diaper Drive in honor of mother’s day. We’ll accept disposable and cloth diapers, pull-ups, as well as wipes. We take all sizes in new or opened packages. We’re especially looking for newborn and sizes 4 & 5. (Some people may have leftover diapers their children have outgrown–we take those too as long as they are in new condition.) ROC City Bottoms is a nonprofit community group in Rochester, NY. They work with local organizations (such as Cameron Ministries) & other community agencies to provide diapers for little bottoms in need.
Local Food Cupboards Receive Your Gifts
Funds raised by our 2013 Harvest Bowl were presented to three area food cupboards today. Deacon Claude Lester received on behalf of The Blessing Room in Bloomfield, Don Fox received on behalf of Community Food Pantry of Honeoye, and our own Pastor Corey received on behalf of FISH Food Cupboard in Honeoye Falls.
As Theresa Keyes emphasized in the presentation (you can hear the audio by clicking below), this program has the potential to feed SO MANY people. We encourage you to get to know more about Harvest Bowl, and about the amazing food pantry programs operating in our own back yards. Lean more by contacting us today. Thanks!

Harvest Bowl Success

Harvest Bowl, a one-day fund-raising event for local food cupboards was a huge success! WBCC served 250 meals and combined with the monies raised at our Annual Election Day Spaghetti Dinner, we can donate $1000 to each of our 3 local food banks!
